A Stoke-on-Trent MP has taken legal action against a former parliamentary candidate and barrister after he wrongly claimed she lived in Kent and not in the city.
Mark McDonald, who stood for Labour in Stoke-on-Trent South in the 2019 general election, made the claim about Conservative Stoke-on-Trent Central MP Jo Gideon in a video he posted on social media.
