No one from the public had any questions concerning the plan, which the Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission researched and wrote over the past couple of years. The Louisa County Planning and Zoning Commission approved a recommendation to accept the plan at its June 9 meeting.
The initial proposals, one that would cover workers in the Louisa County Sheriff’s Department and another for the Louisa County Roads Department, were presented to the supervisors during their meeting on Monday by union representative Amber Moats.
