The classic letter grade is a favorite way that analysts like to examine an NFL Draft class immediately after a team’s class is finalized. It’s topical, it’s easy to understand, and it always creates a debate.
The analytical way that The Athletic’s Arif Hasan looks at the players picked paints a far better overall picture of the value each team receives from their class. Hasan uses his Consensus Big Board that he compiles every offseason which aggregates the boards from over 70 analysts in the media.

The time has come for this writer’s one and only mock draft of 2021. Yes, mock drafts are a true test of too much of a good thing this time of year as many fans are likely looking at another mock with the same feeling they d have when looking at a third plate at Thanksgiving.
Still, since it is officially NFL draft week, the time has come to sit down and hash out a full seven-round mock draft for the Denver Broncos.
While draft simulators have gotten better over the years, I ve always found them to be too buggy to truly trust the results and use them as a benchmark for creating realistic mock drafts. Instead of using a simulator, in a fool-hearted attempt to project where prospects that fit the Broncos’ biggest needs might hear their names called, I ll be selecting players based on their projected draft slot via Arif Hasan’s Consensus Big Board, Dane Brugler’s “Beast” scouting reports, and

The 2021 NFL Draft is just hours away now, and the New York Giants enter the weekend with six picks at their disposal. There are obviously a number of ways the draft could play out, but if the Giants are looking to build around Daniel Jones, then you might want to check out a piece from yesterday much like this one, looking at options for the Giants at every spot in the draft on offense.

I have reached my limit on all the Pick 10 and 44 conversation. Nothing more can be said or argued about who might drop, what our priority should be, or which possible pick will be best – it has all been rehashed far too many times.
I needed a palate cleanser to wash the stale taste of these debates away. So, I started to dig in and research players who are projected to be available in Round 5 or beyond, and identified 35 guys I would definitely have on my draft board.

I am updating my mock draft based on the free agent signings, cuts and other moves made during the first few weeks of free agency. I don’t believe there will be any moves that will significantly change our needs. My approach to this one is to hit our highest needs, but also pick the best player available within reason.
Our needs in my view are two starting offensive guards, starting and/or rotation DE, backup LT that has potential to be starting caliber in the future. Backups for LB, S, DT and maybe late picks for CB/QB. A couple of pass catchers would be nice too. Our 3rd WR spot is weak. I dislike Kirk personally, but he is here for two more years realistically and I think if you want to try to make a run you need to give him help. If we fail, next year is the year to pick your future QB.
