“Along with the OSCE, which is approaching its 50th anniversary, a new phantom with strange goals has emerged. It is called ‘European political community'. What is it? In fact, it is an attempt to build an alternative to the OSCE system of European security, which will be similar in many respects. Most importantly, there will be no Russia and Belarus there,” Vladimir Chizhov said.
Western sanctions were supposed to stop the economy of Belarus, but it is showing growth in 2023, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk said as he spoke at the 16th Verona Eurasian Economic Forum in Samarkand.
