Conor Henderson, Tullyleague, Glin, Co Limerick was charged with drunk driving, driving without insurance, and the unauthorised taking of a car following the incident. He contested all three charges at the last sitting of Listowel District Court but was convicted, fined ?1,100 and banned from driving for two years by Judge Mary O?Halloran.
