Harvey Waterfield, aged 19, from Wednesbury, was found with a stab wound to his back in Spring Pool Meadow in Russells Hall on March 16 and he died at the scene despite the best efforts of members of the public who rushed to his aid. A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to his murder in October and at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday (December 18) he was given a life sentence.
