FCHEA is excited to announce that on October 7, the United States Senate passed Senate Resolution 412, declaring October 8, 2021, National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day for the United States. This is the seventh year in a row the Senate has officially proclaimed the special day.
HUBBARD John R. Alexander, 70, of Hubbard, entered peacefully into eternal life on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021.
He was born Feb. 10, 1950, in Long Beach, Calif.
A veteran of the Marine Corps, he served as a lieutenant in the Vietnam war. John was a union journeyman painter for 40 years and owned Design Marble Inc., John Alexander Painting Co. and was a licensed auctioneer.
He was not only loved by his family and friends but also by the community. He was kind-hearted and would not hesitate to lend a helping hand to anyone, whether he knew you or not. John was a devoted Alabama sports fan, enjoyed fishing and loved to cook. He made the best pasta fagioli and he knew he did. He was known for his sense of humor and laughter. He loved to laugh.
