The adventure comedy film has grossed 24.26 million dollars in North America through Sunday. There is no new release from major Hollywood studios to draw audiences back this weekend as only 36 percent of North American theaters are currently open amid ongoing pandemic. Helmed by Joel Crawford in his feature directorial debut, The Croods: A New Age, with a reported budget of 65 million dollars, features the voice talent of returning stars, including Nicolas Cage, Catherine Keener, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds.
