CHESHIRE â Fire Chief Jack Casner has been named as the 2020 Connie Wallace Employee of the Year.
Casner, who has served 16 years as fire chief, was honored earlier this month at a Town Council meeting. In announcing the award, Council Chair Rob Oris outlined Casnerâs long history with the town.
âChief Casner has served 16 years as chief of the Cheshire Fire Department, and many more years as a volunteer firefighter, and he reflects Cheshire in the highest standards,â Oris said. âChief Casner also serves as the Town of Cheshire Emergency Manager, and has been working around the clock during the pandemic to service the needs of the community.â

Cheshire Fire Chief Jack Casner has been named as the 2020 Connie Wallace Employee of the Year.
Casner, who has served 16 years as chief of the Cheshire FD, was honored at the most recent meeting of the Cheshire Town Council on Tuesday, Jan. 12. In announcing the award, Council Chair Rob Oris outlined Casner’s long history in the Town and how influential he has been to the community.
