Three people are facing charges after an east Windsor arson.
The fire broke out in the early morning hours of January 15th in the 1700 block of Magnolia.
The fire was determined to be suspicious, and an arson investigation was launched.

Through investigation, Arson Unit investigators obtained video surveillance from nearby residences and establishments and were able to identify three suspects and an involved vehicle.
On Tuesday, January 19th, 2021, Windsor Police located the involved vehicle, and it was seized.
Investigators applied for and received Judicial Authorization to search the vehicle.
As a result of the search, investigators located and seized items of evidential value.

Shots fired: A Smithfield Township resident reported a shots fired incident, Tuesday. According to the report, the caller said his friend and girlfriend’s son were turning around, and a neighbor fired three shots “near the truck” leading to a “small” argument. One of the individuals in the vehicle said they were going to the store and the road they were traveling on is one-lane with a turnaround at the end before the neighbor’s property. That person told the deputy they heard the other individual yell “the neighbors have a gun” and heard the first shot, they quickly began turning around and heard the second shot, then had their head pushed down and heard the third. The individuals in the truck observed a male and female on the porch but did not see who was shooting.
