New Canaan Police at about 12:02 p.m. Thursday received a 911 call from Margaret Kokoth’s husband, 77-year-old Albert Kokoth, describing an accidental shooting at their Down River Road home, Lt. Jason Ferraro said in a press release.
During an investigation that is ongoing, police determined that a crime had occurred and charged him with second-degree assault and second-degree assault with a firearm both felonies and illegal discharge of a firearm, a misdemeanor.
