[ music ] there is growing backlash over alleged u. S. Spying activities. German leaders are demanding talks with the United States. The National Security agency may have spied on 35 world leaders. Those talks could begin when germany spy chiefs come to washington next week. Meanwhile british Prime Minister David Cameron went to the man behind the leaks. What mr. Snowden has effectively done and what some newspapers are assisting him in doing is make it more difficult to keep our countries and our people safe. All right, Mike Viqueira is our White House Correspondent who joins us now. Im wonder if the white house is receptive of the idea of intelligence . Reporter i think the white house and Many Administration officials and government officials including those in the Intelligence Community would share the views of Prime Minister cameron. We talk about texting and sexing and omg and i didnt text anything to you. I spoke to and part of the language and how they engage so until we look at the culture of young people and how do we Impact Todays 20th Century Media culture we cant make a huge impact in regards to bullying or electronic aggression or whatever name we want to place on it and is affecting the students and i am excited youre addressing this issue and its a crucial time for this generation and if we dont take serious this conversation today and action tomorrow we will see more and more issues arise. Good morning, everyone. Thank you for being here. You know, as we look through this year, theres obviously some incredible events that have occurred. And for me as mayor of San Francisco, i know that the chief and i and supervisor cohen and dr. Campbell and the whole Public Health staff have always had dialogue and been concerned especially when there is an uptick in june of this year on Violent Crime and homicides in San Francisco. And, so, weve been working together on creating a program which i announced some months ago, the ipo program, the ability to work on things that would interrupt and intervene earlier in the behavior patterns of people that would be both victims and perpetrators of Violent Crime in our city. To support the Police Department and Law Enforcement system of doing more predictive policing using both data and technology to help us do that. And then, of course, i think the most important part is to organize our communities and work with communitybased organizations
Commissioner norton . I just want to recognize commissioner wynns, which we sort of do earlier in the meeting. It was her conference for csba. It was a great conference and learned a lot. At the january 8th meeting were going to try to show the video shown at the delegate assembly, honoring commissioner wynns and were endeavoring to get that from csba.
