New, free COVID testing site opens in Danbury FacebookTwitterEmail DANBURY A new, free COVID-19 testing site has opened in the city. The drive-thru site is open by appointment in the commuter lot at 10 Miry Brook Road. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. CIC Health is running the site, sponsored by the state, which has made the PCR tests free. Insurance is not required. Results are available within 24 to 36 hours. This is one of three free testing sites in the city. The Connecticut Institute for Communities offers testing at various times at 12 Boughton St., while the Community Health Center conducts testing from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at Western Connecticut State University’s Westside campus.
