Report: Middletown man accused of assaulting an infant - again

MIDDLETOWN Police have arrested a man on assault and strangulation charges after they say he abused a 2-month-old infant the second time in recent years he has faced similar charges.
Luis Gabriel Krom was arrested Monday and charged with risk of injury to a child, second-degree assault, second-degree strangulation, first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, multiple news outlets reported Tuesday.
Citing a police report, WFSB reported the child was found with multiple external and internal injuries and taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

FARMINGTON State troopers are seeking information about a crash on Interstate 84 on Monday afternoon that left a juvenile and an adult with suspected serious injuries.
The Connecticut State Police accident report on the incident indicated the crash happened around 2 p.m. on I-84 west near Exit 37.
A juvenile, who the report said was in a forward-facing child restraint system, was taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for suspected serious injuries to his hand and lacerations to his face, according to police.
