The Arkansas Legislative Council on Friday cleared the way for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism to use $10 million in federal American Rescue Plan funds for four parks projects.
It took a “total team effort” — everybody from city employees to Russellville residents — to receive a $24 million grant RAISE to expand Russellville’s Connected Trail System.
Two Arkansas projects will receive a total of $48.8 million in federal grants from the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity program for trails and road improvements.
