Lola Mae Conley nee Anderson, age 91, of Jamestown, ND passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021. She was the beloved matriarch of the Conley Family and was born in Marion, N.D. to Ted and Elsie Anderson. She was the second youngest of seven siblings.
Lola married Wesley Earle Conley on May 26, 1948 in Sanborn, ND. She was a manager at Sears in Jamestown, ND and later worked at the family machinery dealership, Conley Implement, at Urbana, ND. She was a member of the Eastern Star, and served as North Dakota’s representative to Georgia.
Known for her competence, creativity and conversational skills, Lola could do anything she set her mind to. She possessed many talents, and had a bright and curious mind with an uncanny knack for mechanics. A prolific textile artisan, she made over 25 hand stitched quilts in her lifetime.
