Hadlow and Quigan first met as drama school students in the 1970s. “This one is such fun to do a two hander, with someone you know, trust, and can work with as an onstage husband and wife,” he said. “People are going to absolutely love it.” Hadlow and Quigan have acted and directed in a number of Hall’s works before. “I used to live next door to him when I was a kid. Now 50 years later, I’m in his play.” Hadlow said the play was not just for oldies, as the companionship shown would make it relatable for any generation. His two-year old grandson will be in the audience opening night.
