The Coniston Boating Centre, Honister Slate Mine, and Brockhole on Windermere are just some of the many locations that the Lake District National Park Authority (LDNPA) hope could attract the world famous secret agent. Simon Hill, commercial property manager at LDNPA, is pitching for the county. He said: We often get calls from directors and location scouts who want to use the Lake District as a stunning backdrop.
