the latest fox news poll today has republican and tea party favorite ken buck leading michael bennet by four points. that s outside the margin of error. it s a big deal because these guys were tied up just about a week allege. of a week ago. this is in a state where president obama won by 8 points two years ago but has not campaigned recently for bennett who now trails in the polls 50% to 46%. bennett said in an interview that he felt a visit by the president may hurt him with independent voters. we now continue further west to william la jeunesse in washington state where that senate race may be decided by a few votes as well. well, leland, barack obama won washington state by 17 points but do not expect a democratic blow out this year rather. senator patty murray an 18 year incumbent is in a dead heat really with republican challenger dino rossi. now, fox news poll today had rossi down by 2. but real clear politics had them up by half a point.
