here s the interesting fact, harris, now ocasio-cortez is running so far to the left of nancy pelosi it s undermining her own authority, emploeding over the last couple of months. harris: that s what i was asking the democrat congressman about. they re oppositional in their politics and they skew very differently. we saw with bernie sanders, senator sanders taking on formerly presidential candidate hillary clinton, those audiences for voting are very different. oh, no question about it. if you look at nancy pelosi, which has the highest unfavorables of elected political officials, when you have somebody even going further extreme radical left than her positions, i think it s very frightening for a lot of americans and it may be one of the deciding factors that allows republicans to keep the house majority for an unprecedented term in the mid-term elections. harris: congressman walker you have been around the hill and bipartisan relationships
he said yeah, with the democrats trying to figure out who they are right now, it does give be a opening for republicans. what s your take on that then i want to go deeper on the issue with nancy pelosi. voters are looking at issues. they re saying what are the visions that these parties are putting forward for me and my family, what s going to make my life better. every voter right now, taking stock of their lives, are saying i am better off than i was a year and a half ago. republicans went to washington, they have lowered taxes, lowered regulations, wages are up, jobs are coming back, they have delivered on promises they made in 2016. maybe we should return them. we absolutely should return them to the majority. the democrats are running on a different message, anti-trump, obstruct, resist, abolish i.c.e., they have gotten extreme. they re not promoting a vision that helps everyday americans. we re going to win with that message. harris: congressman walker said don t let it be an
