After state lawmakers rejected the bipartisan New York Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) congressional district map on Monday evening, Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie confirmed Tuesday evening that the Legislature expects to vote Wednesday to approve the Democrats self-drawn map.
