Vallejo native promotes to 2-star admiral
VALLEJO Rear Adm. Leonard “Butch” Dollaga, commander of Submarine Group 7 and a Vallejo native, received his second star Monday.
The promotion to rear admiral, upper half, took place in Yokosuka, Japan, and was conducted by Vice Adm. Bill Merz, commander, U.S. 7th Fleet.
