Firefighters have issued a warning about the dangers of open flames after being called twice to a South Cheshire park. On Tuesday evening crews were called to Mill Green in Congleton to reports of a waste fire in Congleton Park.

Police officers have issued an appeal after suspected arsonists torched shrubbery in a popular South Cheshire park. Firefighters were called to Mill Green near Congleton Park shortly after 9.15pm yesterday (February 18).
They discovered shrubs and leaves had been set alight.
It’s the ideal place for tourists to visit as it is within driving distance from Gulliver’s World. Rooms at the Pentahotel have been designed with vibrancy and comfort in minds; they all feature air conditioning and benefit from en suite facilities. The hotel also features a games room, complete with a Sony Playstation and American pool table. The overwhelming majority of reviews for Pentahotel are positive, with people praising the “friendly staff” and “excellent food”. However, one reviewer remarked that the room “needed a little TLC”- but still gave the hotel a 7/10 rating, praising the reasonable price point and cleanliness of the hotel.
