Our top story this morning. A change could soon be coming to iowa that would give more rights to felons. Right now felons are not allowed to vote. But the Iowa Supreme Court may soon relax or change that. Kwwls Amanda Gilbert joins us live this morning with reaction and this idea is getting a lot of reaction. Some closure may soon be coming. For a long time theres been confusion on which of iowas thousands of former offenders are eligible to vote. Right now the only way felons can vote is if their rights are restored by the governor. Several civil Rights Groups are speaking out. Saying the court should change this. And restore felons Voting Rights before the 2016 president ial election. Iowa is one of three state with lifetime voting bans for felons. Some iowans say there doesnt to be any change with the law because Voting Rights are restored to former felons after they prove to the governor they have changed. Others disagree.
