Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez on Thursday met with representatives of indigenous organizations to coordinate actions aimed to assist the indigenous peoples of Peru s Ucayali region and reaffirm the commitment, so that these communities are immunized during the second phase of vaccination against COVID-19.
The meeting was attended by the Chairmen of the Inter-ethnic Association for the Development of the Peruvian Jungle (Aidesep) Lizardo Cauper; Aidesep Ucayali Regional Organization (ORAU) Berlin Dikes; and the Regional Coordinator at the Confederation of Amazonian Nationalities of Peru (Conap) in Ucayali Limber Zumaeta.
