Growing up watching the state candidates for the Academics, Arts and Athletics Award on television, Osakis High School senior Kadyn Triebenbach never thought her dream of reaching that achievement someday would become a reality.

Two Osakis students were named subsection winners, and one is advancing to state in Minnesota’s Academics, Arts and Athletics (AAA) program in Section 6A competition.
Logan Grove and Kadyn Triebenbach are representing Osakis High School. AAA winners participate in Minnesota State High School League athletic programs and fine arts activities and must carry a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Kadyn Triebenbach, daughter of Scott Triebenbach and Shelly Engfer-Triebenbach, has a 3.94 GPA. She will move on to compete at the state level.
Triebenbach is involved with band, jazz band, choir, select choir, tennis, basketball and golf. She is also a part of student council, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Project For Teens and the high school’s leadership group.
