Carrum Health, an innovative surgery benefit offered to self-insured employers, has expanded into Nevada through a partnership with Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Through the partnership, Carrum Health members will be able to receive specialized joint care, including hip, knee and shoulder surgeries and replacements, as well as sports medicine services through Crovetti Orthopaedics.
The Crovetti Orthopedics team provides ongoing patient education, from pre-op to post-op, including onsite aftercare and guidance on transitioning to home for continued recovery. In the Recovery Suites, patients have access to 24-hour personalized care by trained surgical nurses, as well as accelerated rehabilitation protocols, healthy catered meals, and visitor accommodations to make recovery comfortable and ensure optimal outcomes.

Behavioral health startup Concert Health raised $14 million in funding. The San Diego-based company helps primary care providers connect patients to behavioral health services.
Vertical Venture Partners led the series A round, with participation from Town Hall Ventures, Silicon Valley Bank, and previous investors Healthy Ventures and Clear Vision Equity. Concert plans to use the funds to grow its team, ramp up training programs and built out its technology platform.
