A group known as Concerned Nigerian Citizens on Tuesday organised a prayer protest at different parts of Lagos State over the challenges facing Nigerians. The protesters displayed placards with various messages calling for positive change as they protested Obalende Under-bridge on Lagos Island and some other places in the state. The protesters who comprised female adults and children prayed, chanted and sang. Seyi Akinde, one of the members of the group told SaharaReporters that the protest is about the daily challenges that average Nigerians face in the state.
