In his Labour Day address on Saturday (May 1), Muhyiddin said that the government will prioritise and safeguard the welfare of workers from all levels to ensure no one is left behind
He added that many are still suffering as they try to maintain their livelihood during the pandemic and the slowdown of the economy.
“I do not deny that despite the government’s many efforts to assist, there are still workers out there affected and will take much time to return to their lives as they have enjoyed before the pandemic struck, ” said Muhyiddin
