12:32 | Lima, Jan. 14. The Peruvian Government has authorized the transfer of S/154.6 million (about US$42.6 million) to finance the hiring of health personnel assigned to the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases (INEN) and regional governments.
The aim is to strengthen the response to the health emergency caused by COVID-19 in Peru.
This was established by Urgency Decree 002-2021, which was published on Thursday in El Peruano official gazette.
The regulation is aimed at setting out extraordinary measures in economic and financial matters which allow the health sector to secure the supply of services during the extension of the health emergency caused by COVID-19 in 2021.
