Thanks for having me on. We have learned a lot in the last month or two about facebook and russia, especially facebook has said a bunch of ads placed during the election were placed by russian outfits under anonymous accounts and they were politically divisive ads, not necessarily aimed at one candidate or another, but just aimed at sowing divisiveness on some really charged topic. Why did facebook not seem to know who was placing these ads. Its not totally clear why facebook didnt do more Due Diligence on these accounts, the ads were bought in ruble, there are laws that say foreigners cant buy election ads, but apparently they slipped through and because they were under some sort of fake identities, maybe they didnt find them until recently. Now what i learned in your reporting is that these are basically selfservice ad placements, correct . Does not necessarily a human involved. In the course of my reporting, ive buy ads on facebook several times and its just kind of an online menu.

Also, a top individual tax rate between 33 and 39 . Thats a key one to watch for then a revenue place holder that could turn into is a border tax. Thats interesting because theyre not going to say what the revenue raisers will be. Just going to have a place holder in there. Then also an expanded personal exception or child care credit or both which would be important for mild class folks dealing with a tax burden. I just spoke with sean spicer here on campus. Just a little while ago. He hinted to me there might be something in there today about repatriation, bringing in all that corporate revenue thats offshore, bring iing that pack the United States.
