Turquoise Yachts, the builders of the 55.99-metre yacht
Blue II, have granted a closer look inside the new explorer yacht during her time in Capri this year.
Blue II’s appearance is reminiscent of an old-fashioned steamship, but boasts an entirely modern design and construction. The explorer yacht is Turquoise Yachts first IMO Tier 3 compliant and ice-class yacht and is capable of taking on the Northwest Passage and polar regions with her Class 1B steel hull and ice-breaking bow.
Blue II’s classic gentleman-style appearance and her serious exploration capabilities are the result of her carefully-crafted naval architecture, a collaborative effort between Turquoise Yachts and Hoek Design.
