Department of agricultures food safety and Inspection Service issued a Public Health alert saying 278 people got sick with strains of salmonella heidelberg in 18 states predominantly california and that the illnesses are associated with raw chicken products produced by foster farms at three facilities in california. That chicken is still being sold right now. We found it on the shelves at a local grocery store. Thats because no recall has been issued. I dont know why they are not recalling it.
