susan candiotti has standouts at this year s new york auto show. susan, i m jealous, i wish i was there to see all the great new cars. are people showing much interest in these new cars, though? reporter: a lot. in fact, fuel-efficient cars and zero-gas cars are generating a lot of interest at this year s show. now, we are also going to show you right now a car that you never have to visit a gas station again. this is a 100% electric car. this is the nissan leaf. and it won the world car award, this is something voted on by reporters that only cover the automotive industry. this thing gets 100 miles on a seven-hour charge. now, again, it will eliminate any trips to the gas station. it costs $32,000, that includes a federal tax credit. now, admittedly, this is not for everyone. it is a commuter car.
