Date Time Greater Grants Round Two ready to launch in 2021 The second round of Council’s Greater Grants Program for 2020/21 will open early next year. Local groups and individuals are being encouraged to start thinking about projects that may benefit the community, particularly initiatives to help strengthen and reconnect after a challenging year. Grant applications officially open at 9:00am on 18 January 2021 and close at 4:00pm 19 February 2021. Mayor Cr. Bruach Colliton said Council is pleased to be able to offer funding to community groups across a broad range of grant categories including Community Infrastructure, Arts and Cultural Development, Community Strengthening, Tourism and Events, Environmental Sustainability, and Heritage.

Funding Information Major Grants:Up to $10,000 – Two rounds per annum Funding Categories Quick Response Grants:These grants aim to provide community organizations a responsive opportunity to apply for funding for small projects or events that will occur within 3 months of the application. Major Grants:These grants aim to provide community organizations an opportunity to apply for funding. Eligibility Criteria For Community Organizations to be eligible for a Community Strengthening Grant they must: Be committed to providing direct benefits to residents in Moira Shire. Please note, Council may consider funding events held outside of Moira Shire, particularly in the two crossborder communities of Cobram-Barooga and Yarrawonga-Mulwala, where economic benefit to Moira Shire can be demonstrated.
