Little Totham Traffic Group hold first meeting | Clacton and Frinton Gazette

The Little Totham Traffic Community Working Group was held virtually for parish councillors and residents. The two main areas of concern were the excessive volume of HGVs and the number of speeding vehicles in the village. However, due to Covid restrictions, the Community Speed Watch Team is unable to hold sessions to collect more data. According to CrashMap, a website which gathers data on road accidents, there have been five accidents in Brick House Road, The Street, and Witham Road in the past five years. A spokesman said: “These problems are further compounded by the fact that there are several areas of the village, including The Street, which have minimal or no footpaths and thus pedestrians are at extreme risk when encountering either of these two traffic problems.
