Ordinance would not approve the Development Agreement and amend portions of the planning and administrative codes in order to facilitate implementation of the project. The amendments create a consolidated approval process at the Preservation Commission and Planning Commission. They provide for a comprehensive approach in order to preclude the otherwise peace meal process called for existing code provisions. Specifically the amendment enable a master conditional use authorization, master certificate of appropriateness and master permit to alter applications to be filed. And on november 20th and 21st of this year, the historic Preservation Commission and Planning Commission considered the master permit to alter as well as the master conditional use respective of those bodies. The Mutual Admiration Society centers on Dorothy Sayers and five friends who founded a writing group in 1912 at the college oxford. The classmates entered at a time when women could receive an education but not a degree. October 1920 they became some of the first women to graduate. They pushed the boundaries in other ways as well working to rights and reproduction and family making. Working to overcome the restricted sexism of the time, the women of the Mutual Admiration Society are still in inspiration to us today and we can follow their example as we work for a more equal society. Where there is a real difference between perception and reality. That are managed by strong management teams, driven by strong purpose, where my investment, whether it is time or money, can make a real difference. I want to unpack that for a second. Really, whats misunderstood about goodwill is our mission. When i talked to most people out there, people really dont seem to understand what we stand for and why were doing what we are doing. So i think that really the best way to understand is the old story about if you catch a man of fish, he will eat for a day. If you teach them and how to fish, you will eat for life. That is what we are all about. We are all about providing Second Chances by providing jobs and training for those who have barriers to employment. Whether it is formerly incarcerated, recovering addicts , people who struggle with english as a second language, veterans, and a whole bunch of other people that really need a Second Chance. I am really proud to be part of this
