Kron 4 Charles Clifford spoke with the sergeant about what theyre seeing. Well, here in the south bay, the Los Altos Police Department Says that thieves have been targeting homes that are vacant. In a note posted on facebook, the Los Altos Police Department Says that in recent weeks thieves have been targeting homes that are for sale and unoccupied, according to authorities, the burglars are entering these vacant houses and stealing items, including appliances that have been staged inside the thieves have also been stealing appliances and items that are left inside buildings that are still under construction.
