Angels of Assisi receives $500,000 grant to continue its work helping animals
Organization helps animals in Roanoke and the surrounding communities

Angels of Assisi announced Monday that it received a $500,000 grant from Petco Love.
The money will help fund Angels’ new facility that’s under construction, which will cost roughly $3 million. This sizable investment could get them there even sooner.
“It helps us keep more people with their pets and help more pets in this community. The new facility is going to be even larger. We’re going to go from two exam rooms to six our surgical suite’s going to be even bigger, so it’s going to enable us to help even more pets in the community,” said Dayna Reynolds, director of communications for Angels of Assisi.
