Ricketts brief reporters on the States Coronavirus response monday. He gave an update current case numbers and on the more than 975 hospitalizations. This runs just under an hour. Gov. Ricketts good morning, everybody. Thanks for joining us on the states response to the pandemic. As usual, we will start off by reminding people that with the virus still in our commute, we need everybody to please continue to practice all the tools we gave you, follow our rules to be able to slower slow the spread of the virus. That means we need to keep that six foot of distance between you and other people when we wax you you are in public, and other people when you are in public. I grew up from San Franciscos japan town back in the designated western addition. Mom and pop world war ii. My parents saved and borrowed money. They decided to retire and pass the business to my parents. My parents started. Redevelopment demolished. The Small Businesses provided for all of our needs from doctors to dentists, shoe repairs, barbers, bookshops and so much more. Mom and dads restaurant had celebrities. I slept to the jazz greats. Willie mays hung out. It was a Small Business on special flavor, friendliness and character. Back in the days Small Businesses and the people who loved community had a community that wases diverse.
