SOUTH HURON – Councillors will decide at their next meeting whether or not to proceed with an estimated $12.3 million renovation and upgrade at the South Huron Rec Centre (SHRC).
Councillors were presented with three options at a committee of the whole meeting May 25. After much discussion, committee members, who consist of South Huron council, voted 4-3 to recommend to council to proceed with the $12.3-million renovation. Council will vote at its June 7 regular meeting whether or not to approve the recommendation when they receive the draft minutes from the committee of the whole meeting.
