I was bored deaf blind and then i have to ask for accommodations and that ability to get an education and with people with disabilities and that struggle inspired me to become an attorney. I could not reach out to another deaf blind harvard law graduate to say how do you do that . Had you taken exam . I had to figure a lot of it out and that started way back in elementary school. And i was extremely surprised about trying to do an assignment and to investigate what was going on and i was in california in the mainstream Public School in a classroom with nondisabled students and then they realize the teacher was writing assignments on the board. So i needed an instructor to read the assignment so if i did that i would never be successful i had to be my own advocate and i started advocati

We see these incredible results for San Francisco and oakland. For fulltime teachers for math and technology. A surge of kids who are enrolled in stem and Computer Science. More young women and more students of color. Higher attendance rates. Higher math scores. Higher grades. You guys all have to get higher grades now, isnt that good news . Thats what were expecting you to be in school more and have higher grades because of this. This year were going to give another 17. 2 million to San Francisco and oakland Public Schools. Incredible.
