Right now, several lanes between san ramon and pleasanton remain closed. That includes three southbound lanes of 680 between acosta boulevard and the five 8680 interchange in pleasanton, as well as one northbound lane. But crews are making progress in. Caltrans says the road is set to open on time tomorrow at 4 a. M. Before your morning commute, and these same lanes will be closed again two weekends from now, may 31st through june 3rd. But some good news a project is almost finished. This is part of ongoing roadwork that has intermittently closed the highway for weekends, dating back to december of 2022. June 3rd.
