MUSKEGON, MI – Muskegon is expecting the return of a packed summer festival season after most major events were canceled last year due to COVID-19.
Visit Muskegon Community Development Director Bob Lukens said they are looking forward to a good summer with at least 10 festivals scheduled that bring thousands of people to the area.
“We’ll have to see how everything goes with the state’s capacity limits, but as of now, people are getting vaccinated and that really helps,” Lukens said.
