Kim Bolz-Andolshek was re-elected as Pequot Lakes School Board chair, as was Curt Johnson as vice chair. Tracy Wallin was elected as clerk/treasurer of the board, succeeding Susan Mathison-Young.
Also Monday, Jan. 6, the board set its meeting schedule to follow the pattern of the previous year - work sessions on the first Monday of the month and regular meetings on the third Monday of the month, with the exception of February and December when the regular meetings will be held on the second Monday.
Salaries for board members and officers will remain at $250 per month, with an additional $100 for the chair and $50 for the clerk/treasurer. Board member Mike Erholtz said he believes those totals have not changed in 15 or more years.

PARKERSBURG A new chief executive officer of the Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg was named Thursday.
Lynn Reins succeeds Ben Shuman, who has left the organization for other endeavors.
Her appointment is effective on Monday, the board of directors said. Reins has 10 years of experience with Boys and Girls Clubs, beginning her tenure as a youth development professional in November 2010 at the Boys and Girls Club of Franklin-Simpson in Franklin, Ky. She was promoted in 10 years to youth development coordinator, director of education and to director of operations.
Reins said it was an honor to be named the CEO in Parkersburg.

Bob Nystrom took the reins as 2021 Brainerd School Board chair during the board’s organizational meeting Monday, Jan. 11.
“Thank you to the board. Thank you for putting your trust in me to do this position,” Nystrom said from his new spot at the head of the table.
He welcomed newcomers Jana Shogren and Kevin Boyles, expressing confidence in their abilities to serve, and thanked outgoing board members Reed Campbell and Sue Kern.
“They served the board well over the years, and we wish them well,” Nystrom said of Campbell and Kern.
