Clifton pupils help plant trees as part of a community project
The children were given the chance to ask lots of questions about the environment and helped to dig, plant and water the trees.
They will continue to look after the tree they planted as it grows over the next few years.
Richard Burkinshaw, CMBC Conservation Volunteer and Community Association Committee member who organised the planting said: It s great to see the young generation so enthusiastic and committed to tree planting for the environment, climate and the ongoing beauty of the village
