The city is offering assistance to those impacted by COVID-19. Peoria residents can receive up to $500 per month to assist with utility bills and up to $1,500 per month to assist with rent or mortgage up to three months.  The program started Oct. 1 and will run until funds are exhausted.  For more information, contact the Peoria Community Assistance Program office at 623-979-3911 ext. 405 or visit peoriaaz.gov/communityassistance.  Based on the data used to measure the community spread of COVID-19 cases in Maricopa County, the city of Peoria is modifying activities, events and facility operating hours.  The Peoria Community Center is temporarily closed to the public.
