Community Action Pathways Hub event Saturday focuses on new parents

The Repository CANTON – Expectant parents and those with children up to one year old can stop by the Ken Weber Community Campus, 408 Ninth St. SW, on Saturday to pick up free baby supplies and information, according to a news release from Community Action Pathways Hub. The Grab, Go, Grow Event, from 10 a.m. to noon, is a no-touch, socially distanced event that will feature both drive-thru and walk-thru options for attendees and is designed to connect families with the local organizations and agencies that offer programs and services designed for them. Attendees will make their way through designated areas where they will receive pre-packaged bags that will including items such as books, diapers, bibs, bottles and coupons. The Stark County Sheriff s Office will have gunlocks available to distribute to those interested in picking one up.
