When Christian County Public Schools superintendent Chris Bentzel announced return to school guidelines regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic last week, he expressed that those rules could change because of the fluid nature of the situation.
And now, those guidelines have changed and all teachers and staff will be required to wear masks at school
âDue to an uptick in COVID cases in Christian County, CCPS teachers and staff are required to wear masks while at school or work until further notice,â CCPS Director of Communications John Rittenhouse said.
Even teachers and staff who have been vaccinated will be required to wear masks in order to try and help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, which has become even more prevalent lately due to Delta variant.
