all u.s. troops out of south korea. he wants major sanction relief. sub some indication of that at the summit. he wants nuclear weapons that the united states has in the region removed from the region, and he also wants the armistice to end. in other words, the north korea s south korean war to end and a peace treaty to be signed. that s kind of what he is interested in. i think the immediate goal he has, harris, is sanction relief. of course, that is the pattern that our previous presidents all were involved in with him. or his grandfather, or his father. and that was, we promise to denuclearize, but you have to remove the sanctions. and that has happened every time. harris: i know that we have spoken before, and others have told me, too, that it s a good thing to keep the communication lines going. when does the communication line, though, get frustrated by
but when you re standing in a foreign country with a summit next to a leader who has clearly attacked the u.s. using cyber, and it was across the board, house, senate, intel agencies, saying that we are both to blame, it is going to throw up a lot of players. real quickly in all of your experience, two hours with the leader of russia. that seems like an awfully long time to spend with somebody that you don t know all that well. how does that stand in comparison? is that unusual? or is that how it goes. and other meetings, he had a long meeting with vladimir putin early in his term. but putin does a lot of the talking, we are told behind the scenes. do not know the back-and-forth here. clearly president trump likes getting on the world stage and meeting one-on-one with leaders. most presidents do. a different approach to it as far as dealing from afar or actually sitting in a room and that is what the trump administration will say is the biggest benefit. the communication line i
ome option left to take these kids out via swimming and diving. in terms of when that operation is starting, we re not exactly sure. but given the urgency of the situation, you have to expect it will start very soon, if not having started already. the sun starting to rise behind you. we could see and we know the boys have been in somewhat of a level of communication with their families. tell us about that and does it give us any clues as to their moral down there. reporter: yeah. we did get a glimpse of some letters that were exchanged back and forth between the parents of these boys and the boys inside of the cave. they weren t able to establish a communication line but able to send letters back and forth and the boys were stoic in their letters. telling their parents not to worry. one boy saying that he s just looking forward to getting some fried chicken when he gets out. the boys collectively writing a letter asking their teacher not to give them too much homework so it reminds
